Exhibition “Uncle Ho and ethnic groups in Son La”

(VOVWORLD) - A exhibition themed “Uncle Ho and ethnic groups in Son Sa province” opened on Sunday in Son La province to commemorate 60 years of President Ho Chi Minh’s visit to the northwestern region in 1959.

On display are 350 photos capturing President Ho Chi Minh City’s career and his memories with ethnic people in Son La province. The exhibition also covers Son La province’s achievements in national construction and defense over the past 60 years.

Vu Van Son, a soldier of the Son La provincial Military High Command, said: “I’m very happy to visit the exhibition to mark President Ho Chi Minh’s visit to Son La province. I see that I should further enrich my knowledge on national history as well as of Son La province and always try to fulfill my tasks.”

The exhibition will be held in Thuan Chau, Yen Chau, and Moc Chau district until May 8.
