(VOVworld) – The Standing Committee of Hanoi Youth Union yesterday honored 100 typical young families. The event marks the 11th anniversary of Vietnam Family Day on June 28. Nguyen Thi Ha, an honored family member, shares her experience to secure a happy family: “When we prepare to become a family, we should equip ourselves knowledge of family life. We now have the advantages of newspaper and internet which help us collect information. We read about experiences from the Women Newspaper and should try to put our position in such circumstances to know how we resolve them. Moreover, we need to be more independent financially for a more favorable family life.”

Earlier, the Committee held a seminar on young people’s role in building thriving families in the period of industrialization and modernization. At the seminar, 100 typical young families, along with experts, managers, and young people, shared experiences for maintaining a happy family and contributing to building a happy and civilized society.
