(VOVworld) - 600 workers have participated in ‘Happy Tet with laborers’ program.

In his address in Ho Chi Minh City on Monday, the municipal Party Committee Secretary Le Thanh Hai said with creativity and consensus of the entire political system including the working class, Ho Chi Minh City last year gained 9.3% GDP growth, 9.2% higher than in 2012 and 1.7% higher than that of the whole country.

The achievement is attributed to the contributions of 270,000 workers in industrial and processing zones. Hai expressed his wish that each laborer will exert more efforts to learn and improve their skills, knowledge to turn out qualified products to compete in the world market.
