Ho Chi Minh City Party Secretary extends New Year greetings to workers
(VOVWORLD) - Politburo member and Ho Chi Minh City Party Secretary Nguyen Van Nen attended a Tet program for local workers on Sunday. The program was hosted by the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation.

The Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation reported that with over 1.5 million union members and nearly 20,000 grassroots unions, the city’s labor unions have continually innovated Tet programs for workers, ensuring they are both practical and impactful. For the Lunar New Year 2025, these efforts will benefit approximately 500,000 individuals directly, with a total expenditure of around 500 billion VND (approximately 20 million USD).
Additionally, Ho Chi Minh City allocated nearly more than 36 million USD for Tet care activities, further expanding the reach and impact of its support programs for workers and laborers during the festive season.
