(VOVworld) - The 2015 Japan Festival will take place in Ho Chi Minh City in November, featuring music concerts, parades, and traditional Japanese cuisine.

Hua Ngoc Thuan, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, told Takebe Tsutomu, chief organizer of the 2015 Japan Festival in Vietnam, that this event will strengthen the traditional friendship between Vietnam and Japan. Thuan promised Ho Chi Minh City’s cooperation in making the festival a success.

Tsutomu, who is also special advisor to the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentary Alliance, expressed his hope that this year’s festival will promote a better understanding of each country’s culture and stronger bilateral ties.
