The event, a highlight of the celebrations of the 75th anniversary of Vietnam-Russia diplomatic ties, took place in a Russian city that has very close ties with Vietnam.

St. Petersburg has a memorial complex dedicated to Ho Chi Minh which includes a statue, a street named after him in 1978, and a museum. After the inauguration, Madame Ngo Phuong Ly visited School No 488, which has a Ho Chi Minh museum space and has long been a “red address” that welcomes Vietnamese delegations.
