The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that its air defense system successfully intercepted the missile before it entered Israeli airspace, preventing casualties or serious damage.

However, air raid sirens were activated across central Israel, including in Tel Aviv.

This marks the fourth Houthi missile attack on Israel since March 18, following Israel’s renewed offensive in Gaza aimed at increasing pressure on Hamas.

The Houthis have repeatedly  said US efforts will not deter them from targeting American and Israeli interests in the Middle East as long as Israel continues its military campaign against the Palestinians in Gaza.
