US military renews airstrikes on Yemen's Hodeidah seaport
(VOVWORLD) - The US military conducted four new airstrikes on Yemen's Red Sea port city of Hodeidah on Thursday evening, Houthi-run al-Masirah TV said.

The strikes, in response to Houthi attacks on ships in the Red Sea, are the largest US military operation in the Middle East since President Donald Trump took office in January.
Earlier, the Houthi group said it had attacked the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman in the Red Sea for the fourth time in the past 72 hours.
Tensions between the Houthis and the US military escalated as Washington launched new airstrikes in Yemen last weekend. The Houthis had previously threatened to continue attacks on Israeli targets until humanitarian aid was allowed into the Gaza Strip.
