The remark was made at a conference in Hanoi on Tuesday on child rights in the national and international laws. The implementation of child rights in Vietnam has been enhanced and child protection has been done in terms of prevention, intervention, minimization of risks, and support for recovery. Activities to enhance the involvement of children have been expanded nationwide through organizing forums so that they can voice their opinions at schools, localities, and national levels. Ngo Thi Minh, Vice Chairwoman of the NA Committee on Culture, Education, Youth, and Children, said ‘It’s necessary to pay more attention to the implementation of children rights, legal ways for children and regulations on child age to practice their rights as well as shortcomings in legal documents towards amending the law on child care, protection, and education. We need to do more practical review and evaluation before revising the law.
