Indonesian expert praises Vietnam’s impressive economic performance

(VOVWORLD) - With a full-year GDP growth at over 8%, Vietnam is expected to become one of the fastest-growing economies in the region and worldwide, according to Ronaliansyah, a lecturer in international economics at Budi Luhur University in Jakarta, Indonesia.

In his article on Aktual.com, the expert highlighted Vietnam’s impressive economic performance in 2025 and its long-term strategy for advancing on the global economic ladder.
He estimates Vietnam is gaining momentum thanks to relatively consistent regulations and a clear industrialization roadmap.
The article also describes Vietnam as an emerging economic powerhouse in Southeast Asia, citing several competitive advantages. First, in industry, Vietnam is increasingly dominant in electronics, textiles, and consumer goods for export. Second, in investment competitiveness, the country stands out for faster licensing procedures, more consistent policies, and a clear industrial orientation. Third, in human resources, Vietnam’s workforce is not only cost-effective but also highly productive and well trained.
