(VOVworld)- An international conference on nuclear safety research has opened in Da Lat city, Lam Dong province. More than 100 scientists from Russia, Japan, France, South Korea and Vietnam participated in the conference on Wednesday.
They discussed the design, operation and applications of nuclear reactor for safety research in science and technology. Experts from South Korea, Japan and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) focused on sharing their experiences in promoting nuclear power using nuclear reactors; reactor aftermath testing and neutron application at the Fukusima No3 reactor.
Representative from Vietnam’s Institute of Atomic Energy discussed the nuclear power plant project in Ninh Thuan province. Experts from the Russian Rasotom State Nuclear Energy Corporation shared their experiences on safety radiation and proposed the development of a new power plant.
