Interpol expects dramatic jump in crime related to COVID-19 vaccines

(VOVWORLD) - Interpol chief Juergen Stock predicted Monday a sharp rise in crimes by thieves seeking to get their hands on precious COVID-19 vaccines.

A number of experts have warned that criminal groups might try to sell fake vaccines or rob the vaccine supply. In early December, Interpol issued a global alert to law enforcement in 194 countries, warning them of criminal risks related to COVID-19 vaccines.
