Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas

(VOVworld) – Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has accused Israel of committing genocide in the Gaza Strip during a military campaign that has killed 43 Palestinians so far. Speaking at a meeting with his leadership in the West Bank city of Ramallah on Wednesday, Abbas reiterated that the killing of entire families is genocide by Israel against the Palestinian people. He added that what's happening now is a war against the Palestinian people as a whole and not just against the militants.
