Israel to reopen Gaza border-crossing
(VOVWORLD) - Israel said Monday that it plans to reopen the Erez crossing, the only crossing from the Gaza Strip for Palestinian workers and merchants, after closing it for several days following rocket attacks from the Palestinian enclave.

According to the Israeli Defense Ministry, the opening of the Erez pass on Tuesday depends on the maintenance of a stable security situation in the area.
On Sunday, Israel closed the crossing in response to rocket attacks from the Gaza Strip following days of clashes at Jerusalem's flashpoint Al-Aqsa mosque compound and a month of deadly violence.
