(VOVWORLD) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to propose plans for a military operation against Iran during his upcoming meeting with US President Donald Trump, NBC reported.

Israeli officials have grown increasingly concerned that Iran is expanding production of its ballistic missile program, which was damaged by Israeli military strikes earlier this year. Israel also raised concerns that Iran may be resuming uranium enrichment under its nuclear program, though this has not been confirmed by Israeli officials.
Trump and Netanyahu are expected to meet later this month in Florida at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate.
