Japanese media cover Vietnam’s role in DPRK-USA summit

(VOVWORLD) - Japanese media have underlined Vietnam’s role and relationship with the US and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

Sankei newspaper said with a neutral stance, Vietnam hosted the summit and contributed to world peace and stability. The newspaper ran an article about Vietnam’s hospitality and the issuance of a stamp set to mark the summit.

NHK news agency reported that President Trump appreciated Vietnam’s hosting of the summit and thanked the country for buying a big number of Boeing jets and other American tech.

Nikkei evaluated communications result from hosting the summit. 3,000 foreign reporters covering the summit in Hanoi is an opportunity to promote Vietnam’s image to the world. Chairman Kim Jong-un visited a nursery school that the DPRK sponsored during war time.
