Lao media praise Vietnam’s achievements over the past 79 years
(VOVWORLD) - On the occasion of Vietnam’s 79th anniversary of National Day September 2, Lao media have extensively praised Vietnam's remarkable progress over the past 79 years, highlighting the strong friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Laos and Vietnam.

PathetLao newspaper featured a front-page article titled "79 Years of Development of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam," recalling the historic event on September 2, 1945, when President Ho Chi Minh declared Vietnam's independence and established the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
The article says under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Vietnamese people have overcome numerous challenges, successfully achieving national independence and reunification, and gaining significant achievements in the national renewal process. The article also highlighted Vietnam's consistent economic growth and its role as a reliable partner and responsible member of the international community.
The Lao National Radio and Lao National Television praised Vietnam's development over the past 79 years and the exceptional relationship between Vietnam and Laos, saying the enduring friendship between the two nations is a rare and exemplary model in international relations.
