At the panel discussion titled “Transforming Vietnam’s Electronics Manufacturing: Artificial Intelligence, Automation, Tariff Policies, and Shifts in the Global Supply Chain,” delegates provided in-depth analyses of the current landscape and future of Vietnam’s electronics industry.
Tran Hong Quan, Commercial Director of RX Tradex Vietnam and a member of the M-Talks 2025 Organizing Committee, said: “The forum provides a space to share in-depth knowledge of technology, workforces, and strategic direction for the future of the electronics industry."
Vietnam is emerging as a strategic semiconductor and electronics manufacturing hub in Asia. Vietnam now ranks 5th globally in electronics, computers, and components exports. Last year, Vietnam’s electronics export turnover reached over 134.5 billion USD, accounting for more than one-third of the national export revenue. Major tech corporations such as Samsung and Apple continue to expand their large-scale investments in Vietnam, Mr. Quan said.
M-Talks 2025 is a key event under the framework of the Vietnam–Japan Supporting Industries Exhibition, scheduled to take place from September 10–12, 2025, in Hanoi.
The forum was organized by RX Tradex, a leading Asian exhibition organizer, Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), Vietnam Electronic Industries Association (VEIA), and the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency.
