Modern Talking’s lead vocalist to return to Vietnam
(VOVWORLD) - Thomas Anders, the legendary lead vocalist of the iconic German pop duo Modern Talking, will return to Vietnam for a special concert on October 25 after 7 years.
On his social media, Anders wrote: “It is a great honor and joy for me to give a concert in Hanoi on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Germany and Vietnam. I am truly excited to see my fans in Vietnam!”
The concert, titled 'Melody of Two Nations,' will be held at the Hanoi Indoor Games Gymnasium. In addition to Anders, the night will feature performances from talented Vietnamese-German artists, including Tuimi and actor-musician Lam Vissay.
Modern Talking, formed by composer Dieter Bohlen and vocalist Thomas Anders in 1984, became Germany’s most successful band, with 120 million records sold as of 2003.
