(VOVWORLD) - National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man chaired the first meeting of the Steering Committee for the review of the implementation of the Resolution on further renewal and restructuring of political system for greater efficiency and continuing the reform of the state administrative apparatus to be leaner and more effective.

This also includes proposed tasks and solutions to renewing and restructuring the organisational apparatus of the NA, its bodies, the NA Standing Committee and the NA Office.
NA Chairman Man told the meeting on Monday: “The requirements are urgent, exemplary, pioneering, and serious. Restructuring work does not mean leveling, but has to arrange and reorganize the apparatus to make it lean, strong, efficient, and systematic. Some key tasks are building and implementing a comprehensive model of the Vietnamese political apparatus to meet the requirements and tasks of the new era.”
Mr. Man urged all relevant agencies to strive to complete these critical tasks effectively giving limited time available before submitting the review to the Party Central Steering.
