NA Chairman pays tribute to Party, legislative leaders
(VOVWORLD) -On the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year and the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3), National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man on Sunday offered incense in memory of the late Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and the late National Assembly Chairman Le Quang Dao.

Chairman Man honored the great contributions and dedication of the two leaders to the revolutionary cause of the Party, the National Assembly, and the nation.
Offering incense in memory of the late General Secretary Trong at his home in Hanoi, Chairman Man affirmed that the late Party leader (1944-2024) was an exemplary communist soldier, an intellectual politician, an excellent theorist of the Party, who devoted his whole life to the ideal of national independence. During his tenure as Chairman of the National Assembly (2006-2011), Mr. Trong made great contributions to the improved effectiveness of the National Assembly's operations, contributing to the building and perfection of the socialist rule-of-law state of Vietnam.

Offering incense in memory of the late National Assembly Chairman Dao (1921-1999) at his home in Hanoi, Chairman Man praised his important contributions to the profound and comprehensive renovation of the National Assembly, and dedicated effort to the drafting of the 1992 Constitution. As a senior leader of the Party, State, and National Assembly, in any position, the late National Assembly Chairman devoted himself to the common revolutionary cause.
Afterwards, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man visited the family of late Party General Secretary Truong Chinh and burned incense in memory of Truong Chinh (1907-1988) at his home in Hanoi. Chairman Man expressed his gratitude for the late General Secretary's great contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the People. Truong Chinh was one of the strategic theorists of the Vietnamese revolution. Having 63 years of steadfast revolutionary activities, General Secretary Truong Chinh, 81, was an outstanding leader of the Vietnamese revolution.
Also on Sunday afternoon, Chairman Man visited and wished a happy new year to former National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung and his family at his home in Hanoi.
