National Assembly Standing Committee to open its 40th session on Dec.10
(VOVWORLD) -The 40th session of the National Assembly Standing Committee open on Tuesday and close on Wednesday in Hanoi, with NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man and his deputies taking turns to chair the meeting, the National Assembly Office said on Monday.

The Standing Committee will decide on the arrangement and establishment of district and commune-level administrative units of Ninh Binh province in the period 2023-2025. It will also decide on the addition of a number of draft laws and resolutions to the 2025 Law and Ordinance Development Program.
Full time deputies will review and approve the 2025 Working Program of the National Assembly Standing Committee and the Ordinance on Litigation Expenses; give opinions on the authority to sanction administrative violations; and comment on the draft Decree regulating the establishment, management and use of the Investment Support Fund.
The National Assembly Standing Committee will consider supplementing regular expenditure estimates for the Vietnamese Mekong River Commission in 2024; supplementing the 2024 state budget estimate of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; supplementing regular expenditure estimates for ministries and central agencies and supplementing recurrent expenditure estimates for the central budget to implement national target programs in 2024.
