Minister Thang told a conference in Hanoi that completing the national land database represents a major transformation, shifting management methods from manual to modern and transparent.
"There remain challenges ahead to get the job done in 2026. I’m confident that, with the leadership and direction of the central authorities, the strong involvement of local administrations, and the support of the Ministry of Public Security, we will accomplish the goal of developing a national land database that is accurate, comprehensive, well-maintained, and continuously updated, contributing to building a digital government, a digital economy, and a digital society.”
From September 1 and November 30, a 90-day campaign carried out by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and the Ministry of Public Security has cleaned up data of 62.5 million plots of land throughout Vietnam.
