Over half a million immigrants ordered to leave the US
(VOVWORLD) - The Trump administration has announced plans to revoke the legal status of more than half a million immigrants from Latin American countries and Haiti who are currently living and working in the United States.

These individuals were granted entry under the Biden administration, but under the new policies, their legal status will be rescinded, requiring them to leave the country or face arrest and deportation.
The termination of work permits and Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for those affected—primarily citizens of Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela—is set to begin at the end of April.
