Ms. Nguyen Viet Trieu, President of the Vietnamese Women's Union in Europe, said, “The elected deputies must demonstrate morality, integrity and credibility among the people. They should also possess the knowledge and capability to take on major responsibilities, while remaining close to the people, listening to and respecting their aspirations. I hope the deputies will have the ambition and determination to drive breakthroughs, contributing to the achievement of national development goals in the new era.”

Ms. Le Thuong, President of the Vietnamese Association in Japan’s Kansai region, said, “For Vietnamese people living far from home like us, the moment of directly participating in the election makes us feel more connected and closer to our homeland. Each ballot is a right and a citizen’s responsibility toward the country’s development.”

For many Vietnamese living abroad, returning to participate in the election is a special experience.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Anh, Honorary President of the Vietnamese Association in Fukuoka, Japan, said, “We have great expectations that deputies of the new term will have a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the Vietnamese community abroad. Overseas Vietnamese possess knowledge, economic resources and international connections, so we hope there will be favorable mechanisms and policies that allow us to return and contribute to our homeland.”
