Overseas Vietnamese in US praise Vietnam’s progress under Party leadership

(VOVWORLD) - Lawyer Dang Chien Thang, an overseas Vietnamese living and working in Maryland, the US, said he is impressed by and has a positive assessment of Vietnam’s development achievements in recent years amid regional and global fluctuations.

According to Thang, political stability is the foremost factor, providing a solid foundation for socio-economic development. Vietnam’s economy continues to post high growth, he noted, while people’s living standards are improving and national cultural values are being preserved and promoted.
He highlighted the policy to streamline the administrative apparatus, including the reorganization and merger of administrative units, describing it as a major decision with strategic significance.
“This is an extremely meaningful accomplishment. I believe that by merging and trimming the administrative apparatus, we have strengthened socio-economic capacity to focus on the development of specific regions. At the same time, this approach helps bring public authorities closer to the people,” said Thang.
