(VOVWORLD) - Party General Secretary To Lam attended a ceremony to announce the winners of the 9th National Press Awards on Party Building - the Bua Liem Vang (Golden Hammer and Sickle) Awards 2024 in Hanoi on Monday.

Mr. Lam appreciated the Awards’s outstanding results in both quantity and quality, reflecting the personal contributions of the journalists, as well as the sense of responsibility, unity, and collective efforts of the entire press community in support of the nation's common cause.
“The key task in 2025 is to successfully achieve the set targets and plans, laying a solid foundation for breakthroughs in the next term. Press coverage on Party building should actively contribute to strengthening and purifying the Party, in line with its responsibility and historical mission to lead the nation's development in the new era. The press must closely align with the Party's political objectives and address major national issues, focusing on comprehensive, insightful, effective, and targeted communication," Mr. Lam said.
The organising board of the 9th edition received 2,544 entries, up 15% compared to the previous one. The Organizing Board awarded 6 A prizes, 12 B prizes, 18 C prizes, 40 Consolation prizes, and 10 Thematic prizes.
Voice of Vietnam’s group of authors Le Thi Tuyet-Van Hong-Thu Huyen-Dinh Hieu won 1 A prize for the work "Institutional innovation, a breakthrough creating a premise for the country to enter a new era", 1 B prize, 4 Consolation prizes and a Certificate of Merit for their outstanding contributions to the Golden Hammer and Sickle Award.
The Organizing Board launched the 10th Golden Hammer and Sickle Award 2025.
