Praising their encouraging initial achievements, the Party leader urged the Army Corps to focus on preparing and successfully organizing Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, overcome difficulties, promptly complete regional defense combat plans and civil defense, in line with the new force arrangement and combat readiness.

The same day, General Secretary Lam visited and worked with Brigade 15 on implementing the socio-economic tasks of national defense and security. He affirmed that the Brigade is one of the first economic-defense unit models in the strategic area, making great contributions to building a solid defense area and to improving the economic, cultural and social life in the strategic Central Highlands.

The General Secretary requested that the Brigade continue to perform well the three functions of the Army: combat army, working army, and production army in the new period. He stressed the need of building a strong Brigade, help people develop the economy, culture and society, and prevent natural disasters and epidemics.

The Brigade also needs to promote defense diplomacy, build a border of peace, friendship, cooperation and development with Laos and Cambodia, he said.
