Party General Secretary receives delegation of the Indian Communist Party

(VOVworld) – Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong on Tuesday received a delegation of India’s Communist Party, led by General Secretary Sudhakar Reddy, which is currently on a working visit to Vietnam. Trong said the visit is vivid evidence of the fine relations and friendship between the two parties and peoples. He thanked the Communist Party of India for supporting the Vietnamese people in wartime and current development process. He briefed the delegation on the important documents of the 11th Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Vietnam’s socio-economic development and plans in the years to come. He said he hoped that the Communist Party of India will continue to boost the multifaceted and strategic partnership between Vietnam and India.

Earlier, the delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam headed by Hoang Binh Quan Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations held talks with the delegation. During their stay in Vietnam, the delegation visited President Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh city and worked with former Vice president Nguyen Thi Binh, the General Confederation of Vietnam and the Communist Party Review.
