(VOVworld)-The Prime Minister has chaired a regular monthly government meeting to review socio-economic situation since early this year.

During the 2-day meeting which closed on Tuesday, cabinet members agreed on positive changes in inflation control, macro-economic stabilization and initial progress in economic restructuring. Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung highlighted credit solutions to address economic difficulties:“Credit is very important to boost aggregate demand and reduce inventory. Credit growth should be raised to 10% to fuel agricultural production, exports, SME’s and supportive industries. Bank restructuring should be accelerated to avoid poor performance.”The Prime Minister emphasized the prior task of macro-economic stabilization and inflation control and urged ministries to submit restructuring plan by July.
