PM offers incense to commemorate late government leaders

(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh on Saturday evening offered incense to commemorate the late Chairman of the Council of Ministers Pham Hung and the late Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet at their home in Ho Chi Minh City.

Paying tribute to Chairman Pham Hung (1912-1988), Prime Minister Chinh expressed his affection and respect for the late leader's contributions to the cause of national construction and defense. He was an exemplary model of revolutionary ethics, absolutely loyal to the Party's revolutionary cause, ready to fight and sacrifice for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the peoples’ happiness.

At the residence of the late Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet (1922-2008), Prime Minister Chinh praised the late PM for a democratic and in-depth working style, theory closely linked to practice, words matching actions, daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility. Late Prime Minister Kiet made important contributions to and left outstanding marks in the cause of national innovation, integration and development. His legacies have been, are and will be promoted by the Party, State and people in building and defending the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, PM Chinh said.
