Mr. Chinh was speaking during working sessions with several producers of vaccines, biological products, and medical supplies in Hanoi on Thursday.

At Vaccine and Biological Production Company No. 1, Mr. Chinh said Vietnam’s vaccination campaign must be carried out in the quickest, safest, most effective manner. The Government wants quicker implementation of the vaccine strategy, he said.

“We need to simplify procedures and fine-tune policies and mechanisms for the transfer of technology, and mobilize resources, like the COVID-19 Vaccine Fund to invest in vaccine production. The Health Ministry needs to create a COVID-19 vaccination campaign whose costs are in line with the market,” according to the Prime Minister.

Prime Minister Chinh also visited the Medicon company, which produces medical test kits.
