(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has urged greater determination to complete the reconstruction of people’s houses collapsed or swept away by floods in central region before January 15, 2026.

In an official dispatch signed on Thursday, Prime Minister Chinh asked ministries, sectors, and localities to work harder to complete the "Quang Trung Campaign", a government-led initiative to rebuild or repair houses for residents affected by the disaster with lightning speed.
The Prime Minister requested leaders of the provinces and cities, including Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, and Lam Dong, to mobilize maximum resources and necessary forces to implement "3 shifts, 4 teams", "work day and night, work on holidays", “work throughout the New Year holiday” without delays for any reason.
Once their houses are rebuilt or repaired by January 15, local residents will settle down and stabilize their lives before the opening of the 14th National Party Congress and the Lunar New Year of the Horse in 2026.
