PM urges assurance of sustainable finance
(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has asked the financial sector to take the lead in renewing thinking, provide well-focused policy advice to ensure national financial security, and support 2.3 million household businesses in transitioning to more convenient operating models.

Speaking at the sector’s 2025 year-end review and the rollout of tasks for 2026, Mr. Chinh called for the full disbursement of public investment capital by January 31 to ensure public investment becomes a key driver of growth.
“As the situation evolves rapidly, flexible and effective responses are vital. We need to harmonize fiscal and monetary policies to maintain macroeconomic stability and create breakthroughs. The action plan for the 14th National Party Congress targets double-digit growth in the coming years. Finance must be sustainable, while development investment must be focused and targeted. Spending must be effective,” he noted.
The Prime Minister also requested the continued effective operation of the two-tier local government model, stronger decentralization, and the creation of a favorable ecosystem for private enterprises to grow and invest in high-tech industries, semiconductors, and large-scale infrastructure.
