(VOVworld) – The Ministry of Construction and the International Copper Association of Southeast Asia held a conference Friday in Hanoi to introduce, and receive comments on, a draft of power system standards for houses and public works. The draft, written between last January and June of next year, will set out technical specifications for a power system to be installed in houses and public buildings through different stages of design, construction, inspection, and operation to ensure its safety. Malaysia’s experience in building power safety standards was reviewed. The Ministry of Construction and the International Copper Association of Southeast Asia used this occasion to sign a memorandum of understanding.
