President Luong Cuong pays New Year visit to Pa Tan commune, Lai Chau province

During the visit, he extended New Year greetings to the Party Committee, local government, residents, and armed forces and presented gifts to families with meritorious contributions and disadvantaged families in Pa Tan commune, Sin Ho district.

President Cuong urged Lai CHau province to effectively implement the Party's guidelines, State policies, and laws, emphasizing the importance of leveraging the strength of the great national unity bloc.

He also called for effective implementation of the emulation movement "Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses," in line with the Prime Minister's directives.

At the Training-Mobile Battalion of the Lai Chau provincial Border Guard, stationed in Pa Tan commune, the President visited the "Zero Dong" booth, joined in making bánh chưng (traditional sticky rice cakes), and participated in cultural and sports activities of the local ethnic minorities.

Earlier in the day, the President visited and presented gifts to war invalid Nguyen Van Hien's family in Cau Pha village and the Pa Tan Commune Health Station.
