Addressing the 19th National Press Awards ceremony in Hanoi on June 21 - Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day - Prime Minister Chinh emphasized the crucial role of the revolutionary press in national development, saying it inspires progress, shapes values, and fuels the people’s aspirations for a stronger and more prosperous Vietnam.
The government leader called on every media agency and journalist to be well aware of and uphold their responsibility.
“The revolutionary press must be an honest and objective voice, offering multifaceted, comprehensive, and inclusive reflections of life. It should serve as an effective bridge between the Party, the State, and the people, exposing wrongdoings and negativity, promoting role models, and spreading profound humanistic values throughout society,” said Mr. Chinh.
