Prime Minister calls for French support in developing railway
(VOVWORLD) - At a working session on Wednesday with France’s National Railway company SNCF, during his official visit to France, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh called on France to help Vietnam develop its railway industry by implementing the memorandum of understanding it signed with Vietnam’s Ministry of Construction, sharing experience, transferring technology, providing financial support, and human resource training.

Prime Minister Chinh and a Vietnamese delegation studied SNCF’s model to see how the company invests, constructs, and operates railway projects in other countries, particularly high-speed railway projects.
The same day, Prime Minister Chinh visited the Musée du quai Branly-Jacques Chirac, one of Paris’s most famous museums, which displays more than 9,500 items related to Vietnam’s history and culture.
