Prime Minister chairs 24th meeting on national key transport projects

(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has called for further engagement of the political system in implementing transport infrastructure projects, especially in compensation, resettlement work, ensuring that new residences are better than the previous ones.

Speaking at the 24th meeting of the Steering Committee for National Key Projects on Thursday, PM Chinh, who is also Head of the Committee, requested relevant agencies to review and inspect prices, norms, investment capital, investment procedures, and the selection of investors and contractors to ensure compliance with regulations.

“It’s necessary to promptly remove institutional difficulties and barriers, review and adjust planning in line with the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress on the country’s new development space. Provincial planning  must take into account the development space along expressways to optimize projects,” said Mr. Chinh.
