Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attends National Television Festival in Binh Dinh

(VOVWORLD) - The 42nd National Television Festival concluded on Saturday in Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh province. 54 gold prizes, 98 silver prizes, 223 consolation prizes, and three individual awards across 11 categories were awarded to outstanding entries.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his deep impression with this year’s entries, saying they serve as a source of motivation and inspiration for the community and society.

The Prime Minister also commended Vietnam Television for officially launching a big data-driven system to measure and analyze viewer engagement. He highlighted this as a crucial step toward, reflecting the determination to develop a television industry based on science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation, in order to better serve the public.

As Vietnam enters a new phase of development, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh underscored the increasingly vital role of the press and television as a bridge between the Party, the State, and the people.

He called on the television industry to continue fostering public trust and national aspirations, spreading positive values, and promoting the spirit of great national solidarity. Looking ahead, he urged the industry to uphold its professional identity, develop a national digital television ecosystem, explore new creative opportunities, and drive further breakthroughs in broadcasting.
