Party leader calls for resolute action on stalled, inefficient projects
(VOVWORLD) - Party General Secretary To Lam has urged stronger efforts to combat wastefulness, particularly focusing on delayed, stagnant, and inefficient projects that cause significant financial losses.

Speaking at a meeting of the Central Steering Committee for the Prevention and Control of Corruption and Negativity in Hanoi on Tuesday, Mr. Lam directed the Government and local authorities to identify the root causes of project delays, propose effective solutions, and hold those responsible accountable.
He reaffirmed a firm stance against corruption and negativity, calling for an urgent nationwide review of public assets. All unused, inefficiently utilized, or mismanaged public properties must be addressed within this year, he stressed.
The Party leader also emphasized the need for synchronized efforts in preventing corruption, wastefulness, and negativity.
He urged authorities to prioritize comprehensive digital transformation, in line with the Politburo’s Resolution 57, to enhance governance, transparency, and accountability while minimizing unnecessary obstacles for citizens and businesses.
