Vietnam’s Engineering Unit Rotation 3 hailed for equipment readiness
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam’s Engineering Unit Rotation 3 has been praised for the maintenance and upkeep of their equipment following a routine inspection by the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA) on Monday.

The UN team assessed various aspects of the unit’s operations, focusing on the technical condition and operational capability of key equipment, self-sustaining supplies, logistics, environmental sanitation, and disease prevention.
“At the end of the inspection, we found the company to be in a very high standard. All the equipment, especially engineering equipment, was found to be in a very high standard and operational,” Head of the inspection team Raju Khadka said.
This was a quarterly inspection conducted by the mission for all troop-contributing countries.
