Appreciating Vietnam's strong political commitment and forward-looking approach to science, technology, and innovation, WIPO Director General Daren Tang affirmed that WIPO will continue to actively support Vietnam in improving institutions, mechanisms, and policies; and developing tools and indicators to measure the contributions of science, technology, and innovation.
He said WIPO will help Vietnam in promoting the effective commercialization of research results for public benefit; assisting corporations and enterprises in developing, promoting, and protecting their brands; and advancing the cultural industry, creative economy, and digital economy, including in sectors such as film and fashion, as well as supporting efforts to address climate change.
