Private sector encouraged to provide vocational services

(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has called on the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs to make it easier for the private sector to participate in building vocational schools and providing vocational services.

Mr. Phuc addressed a meeting in Hanoi on Wednesday to review the Ministry’s performance in 2017 and set out tasks for this year: “Individuals and private organizations are encouraged to invest in developing vocational training institutions and sanatoriums for people subject to social protection and piloting equitization of public service units of the Ministry. This is a new issue that we need to call for capital from society.”

The Prime Minister praised the Ministry for issuing social welfare policies and sending 135,000 guest workers abroad. He urged for strengthened management of Vietnamese workers overseas, export of more workers, and an increase of social insurance coverage.
