Red carpet rolled out to welcome Hungarian president in Hanoi
(VOVWORLD) -President Luong Cuong and his wife presided over a welcoming ceremony on Wednesday morning at the Presidential Palace, for Hungarian President Sulyok Tamas and his wife who are on an official visit to Vietnam.

The first Vietnam’s visit in 11 years by a Hungarian head of state is taking place at a time when the two countries celebrate the 75th anniversary of their diplomatic ties in 2025.
The motorcade escorting President Tamas and his wife entered the Presidential Palace, where President Luong Cuong and his wife were present with the red carpet rolled out to warmly welcome the Hungarian guests.
After the welcoming ceremony, President Cuong and President Tamas led the high-ranking delegations of the two countries to hold talks, assessing the results of cooperation between the two countries and mapping out future directions for cooperation.
