(VOVworld) - Russia is ready to cooperate with all "constructive forces," including the Kurds, in fighting the IS in Syria, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexei Meshkov said Thursday.

TASS News Agency quoted Meshkov as saying that Russia is in Syria at the Syrian government's invitation.

The same day, the Russian Minister of Defense said Moscow established a hot line with Israeli military forces to avoid possible conflicts in Syria’s airspace.
