(VOVWORLD) - Sailing vessel 286 Le Quy Don of the Naval Academy of Vietnam arrived at Muara port in Brunei on Monday for a working visit and exchange program with the Royal Brunei Navy.

On board were a Vietnamese delegation led by Deputy Director of the Vietnam Naval Academy Nguyen Dinh Giang.
Lieutenant Colonel Shahairil haji Mohd Shahlan, Commanding Officer of the Royal Brunei Navy’s Maintenance Department, said he believed the visit and exchange program would be a great success, consolidating and strengthening cooperation between the Royal Brunei Navy and the Vietnam People’s Navy.
Colonel Giang said the cooperative relationship between the two navies has developed rapidly and will continue to flourish, contributing to regional and global peace and stability.
