South Korea’s constitutional court holds 1st plenary session on President impeachment
(VOVWORLD) - South Korea’s Constitutional Court convened its first plenary session of judges on Thursday to review the impeachment case against President Yoon Suk Yeol, submitted by the National Assembly.

The court has delivered necessary documents to President Yoon Suk Yeol both in person and via mail, requiring him to submit a written response within seven days. The court has up to 180 days to decide whether to uphold or overturn the impeachment motion. This decision will either remove President Yoon from office or reinstate him.
Meanwhile, President Yoon Suk Yeol remains suspended from his duties by the National Assembly and is subject to travel restrictions.
