Under the strategy to 2030, Vietnam will promote investment in selected areas of national security and defence, management of natural resources and environment, minimization of damage caused by natural disasters and diversification of public services, including navigation and satellite data-based warnings. The Strategy aims to train a pool of some 300 experts and 3,000 engineers in space science and technology as well as the development of research labs.
