Switzerland seeks to speed up FTA talks with Vietnam
(VOVWORLD) - Swiss President Karin Keller-Sutter said Monday that Switzerland wants to accelerate negotiation of a Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam and the European Free Trade Association, which includes Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland.

At the annual meeting in Bern of the Foreign Press Association of Switzerland and Liechtenstein, Ms. Keller-Sutter said she discussed the FTA with Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh earlier this year in Davos.
Talks are making progress and an agreement will bring benefits to all parties, she added, Switzerland is seeking to boost exports by expanding into new markets, pursuing new trade deals, and updating existing agreements.
